Membership & Dues

The Harford Choral Society welcomes both singing and non-singing members. Dues are $60 each semester or $110 annually plus the cost of music.  Students participating for college credit at Harford Community College are exempt from dues.

Concert Dress

We encourage ladies to wear all‑black clothing for performances.
Gentlemen may wear a tuxedo, black suit, or black dress shirt and slacks.

New members will encounter a welcoming atmosphere. The director provides a creative repertoire as well as encouraging and challenging rehearsal sessions. Rehearsals provide a balance to the workaday world by easing the burden of stressful days and lightening the hearts of those who participate. Rehearsals are enjoyable, filled with good humor and balanced by laser-like work in our process of making music. Participants depart from rehearsal vocally invigorated and refreshed. The Harford Choral Society has openings for all voice parts. To schedule an audition with the director, complete an email request below.

Rehearsals for the Fall 2026 semester begin Monday, August 31, 2026 at 7:00 pm. If you want to sing with us, it's not too late to join!

Rehearsals are held at Harford Community College(opens in new tab), Rm J112 (Joppa Hall 112). Joppa Hall is located at entrance #4 off of Thomas Run Rd.
